After starting up Mures Fish House in 1973 Jill and George Mure built Mures Fish Centre in 1987. Mures Fish Centre includes Mures Upper Deck which is owned by Rick & Sarah McMahon.

You may be after a place to wine and dine, want a place for your staff Christmas party, a location for your product launch or a great location to workshop your new idea. Mures Upper Deck can offer you all of these options. The venue can hold 225 people in one sitting or 180 diners in the combined George’s and Victoria Room. We also have the George’s Room suitable for a U shape set up comfortably for 40 people or 70 people lecture style.

The only interruptions to your corporate event are the wonderful views of the docks and Mt Wellington, but you can always pull down the blinds.

Sarah'sbrother Will and his wife Judy own and run the fishing boats, Mures Lower Deck and Mures Fishing. For fresh fish, the Lower Deck bistro and the Orizuru Sushi bar go to Mures Fish Centre.

In addition to the Upper Deck, Rick and Sarah have built Jam Packed café and Providore in the IXL Henry Jones building on Hunter Street.
